The Client
Pearces Nursery is a family-owned wholesale nursery situated on a beautiful 16-acre property. Supplying garden centres, councils, landscapers and other reputable businesses with quality products since 1983. Pearces Nursery is well established and highly regarded both locally and internationally.
The role
A unique opportunity for an experienced dispatch coordinator to join a supportive team environment, working closely with the dispatch manager to oversee and maintain the dispatch department of the nursery, focusing on quality assurance and smooth day to day operations.
This role is best suited to a tech savvy, detail orientated individual who enjoys a mix of working autonomously but also as a team.
Day to day
- Monday - Thursday | 6:00am - 2:30pm
- Receiving and processing orders via email and phone
- Print out weekly dispatch requirements
- Create a plan coinciding with weekly dispatch requirements
- Produce barcodes and labels for upcoming dispatch plan
- Liaise with clients and freight companies
- Managing all dispatch related correspondence including delivery dockets and invoices
- Indirectly leading a team of up to 6 nursery hands where required
